Reason enough for us at ASTRUM IT to create physical and mental spaces in which anything is possible. We are convinced that artificial intelligence is just one of many building blocks that can be used to drive technological progress. We generate knowledge through intensive research and new forms of education within our Innovation Hub. In this way, we consciously drive a wide variety of projects and also give new – as yet unconscious – things space to unfold; to become more tangible, more explainable.

Data Privacy
Protection of sensitive personal data in a medical environment is a core issue that is reflected in all our projects. With the support of specialist advisers, we develop sophisticated processes to prevent unauthorized access to the data subject to protection. That is how our software is created true to the motto “Privacy by Design”, i.e., the fundamental data privacy law-related requirements are already incorporated in the software architecture.
Multi-Professional Networking
As we work with very different issues, we highly value the advantage of close networking with all cooperation partners. The exchange of know-how among all players from the medical, industrial, and scientific fields is a matter of course for us. That way, we resolutely bring the technologies and methods jointly developed in the project to maturity. Being a supplier for the manufacturers of medical devices, we have been certified according to the quality management standard EN ISO 13485.

‘In the eMP+ project, we worked with ASTRUM IT to network the electronic medication plan and the digital documentation systems of the ambulance service. When the insurance card is scanned in the ambulance, an electronic medication plan is automatically retrieved and made available to the emergency doctor. The solution was rolled out as a prototype in the Nuremberg/ Fürth/ Erlangen region. The collaboration was extremely pleasant and very goal- and solution-orientated.’
